By becoming a member of Perry Education Association (PEA) you are becoming part of the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) as well as the National Education Association (NEA).
- Professionalism - Many teachers know their professional interests can be advanced by adding their strength and numbers to PEA’s long-standing commitment to the goals of American education.
- Advocacy - PEA serves as the collective bargaining agent for all certified staff in Perry Township.
- Protection - Teachers are very much aware of the many demands placed on today’s school systems. As a member, each educatior is automatically covered up to $1,000,000 in liability insurance.
- Member Benefits - Many educators join the Association to take advantage of the many special benefits. These services can save members a great deal of money and in some cases, more than the total dues paid each year.
